Problems

Increasing Vulnerability of the Elderly

The rapidly growing population of elderly individuals, particularly those living alone, often suffers from a lack of access to personalized Cyber Safety awareness programs, counseling services, or reporting assistance. As a result, senior citizens are increasingly targeted by cybercriminals, making them particularly vulnerable to online fraud and scams.

Unsafe Workplaces for Women

Many workplaces fail to adhere to the mandatory Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Policy, which is required in all establishments with more than 10 employees, irrespective of gender. This non-compliance highlights a significant issue: the lack of regular training and effective measures to create awareness about sexual harassment and ensure policy adherence. This gap in training and enforcement is a major challenge for safe and respectful work environments for women- one of the major factors for low female labour force participation in India.

Comprehensive Solutions
